    This non-profit organization helps our local active duty, separated and retired Wounded Warriors by providing financial support to care for their service animals vet bills, training programs, and unexpected expenses. Please like their Facebook page and help ARMA Nebraska raise money and awareness for our local Heroes.

    We will be accepting monetary donations at our monthly meetings and will be holding our Annual Charity Auction at our December meeting where you will get to meet some of our Heroes.  Please join us in December for more interaction and support opportunities.

    Kathleen Glasgow Sparks, CRM, or ‘Kathy’ as her colleagues know her, has been in Records and Information Management for about 42 years.  In 2012 she became the first recipient of the Alan Andolsen Award by the ICRM recognizing her contribution and mentoring of CRM candidates in two countries and over the course of 30+ years.  Currently, she is the Records Retention Director for Tyson Foods, Inc.  Her responsibilities include:  development of policy and procedures for the RIM program.  She leads the Records Management staff of twelve.   Her team is involved in the retention decisions as SAP data is archived, when system applications are decommissioned.  They also establish retention requirements as new systems are designed and participate in numerous electronic data management initiatives. She also oversees the inactive paper records storage operations.
