In recent years information security has become a larger stakeholder in information management at organizations, and in an increasing number of cases, is actually owning it rather than records management, information technology, or legal.  Utilities and healthcare are two industries in the vanguard of this shift.  This session will focus on how firms brought information management under information security to drive business value and increased compliance, as well as bring awareness of how to reduce the risk associated with unstructured data by framing it as an information security issue rather than an IT, legal or records management issue.
