    Mark Peterson is an Information Business Systems Analyst from the Nebraska Department of Insurance.  Mark joined the Nebraska Department of Insurance in November of 1995 as an Information Systems Analyst. He holds a bachelor of Arts Degree in Urban and Regional Planning from Eastern Washington University.

    Mark serves as the Department’s IT liaison with the National Association of Insurance Commissioners (NAIC). He has been the Department liaison between building management and the Department for several years. He also serves as the Department’s Continuity of Operations Plan (COOP) coordinator and performs numerous other duties as assigned.

    Mark presents the real life case of a government entity that had a fire and how their Business Continuity Plan was implemented. Did it work or not? What lessons we can learn from them?
