For the past fourteen years Dave Arch has developed and now manages the mentoring program for Nebraska’s largest privately held company, Tenaska. He is also the author of the book Transforming Leaders The Sandler Way currently distributed in twenty-eight countries.

This presentation will focus on understanding generational differences in the workplace and implementing effective leadership styles.

Record managers work with every generational group; Traditionalists (1900-1945), Baby Boomers (1946-1964), Generation X (1965-1980), and Millennials/Gen Z (1981-2002). And whether you are a Baby Boomer, Generation X or Millennial, you must understand each group's attributes, work ethic, values, preferred work environment, work assets, work liabilities and what the group may be looking for in a job.  These are the keys to unlocking powerful dynamics in and between groups, and developing an effective leadership style to make your job easier.
