    Speaker - Jason Stearns

    Jason C. Stearns is Director, Legal & Compliance – Information Governance at BlackRock and is responsible for the global implementation of Information Governance standards and requirements. Prior to BlackRock, Mr. Stearns held similar roles at UBS and New York Life Insurance Company.

    In addition to his role at BlackRock, Jason is a director on the board of ARMA International and also serves as the board liaison to the IGP Governance Board. Jason is the former chair of the IGP board and was one of the original contributors involved in the development of the IGP credential.

    Mr. Stearns holds an MS in Applied Information Management from the University of Oregon and BA from Binghamton University. He is also a Certified Records Manager, Certified Information Privacy Professional and a certified Information Governance Professional.
